As long as you use what I recommend, I do not mind at all. I only recommend products that I have used on myself. Ebanel 520 Numb is a great product to use prior to the skin being broken (before your tattoo starts). You can purchase this on Amazon or in the shop. If you choose to use this please let me know prior to your appointment so I can make sure you’re using it correctly. 

Here are some general instructions-

1. clean the area with soap and water.

2.  Shave the area to be tattooed and surrounding area to open the pores.

3. Apply a liberal amount of numbing cream including surrounding areas.

4. Wrap with plastic wrap.

5. Leave this on 2-3 hours prior to your appointment.

6. Please note that this lasts for about 45 mins to 1 hour.

Once the skin is broken (and the linework in complete) I have other products I can use to help alleviate pain. Bactine Max is a topical spray that we use. It is free of charge and lasts for about 45 minutes. The more broken the skin, the better the product works.
